Sad goodbye.

My friend Col Bobby leaves tomorrow for a year in Iraq. He assured me that he'll be safe and sound, since he'll pretty much be in the green zone most of the time.

Iraq is dry (no alcohol) except maybe at the embassy. I gave him friend John's info to look him up there. He's at the embassy there until this time next year.

Good luck to both. The gang will raise a glass to you. Then again, they'll raise a glass for just about anything. I'll try and email you the gossip from time to time.
