Big Decisions

Yesterdays big decision was whether to go the beach and swim and come back and hang around the pool, or go to the beach and swim then hang out at the beach then come back and hang around the pool. Todays big decision was whether to have coconut icecream or vanilla icecream with our grilled pineapple.

This is the second year in a row that I've been down in Nags Head for Labor Day Weekend and the week that follows. It really has been a perfect vacation. Over the weekend, we still had a good crowd and were able to get out to a few night spots and blow off some steam. Then by Tuesday, the crowds disappeared and the town becomes a sleepy little village. Most of the houses along side of us up and down the beach are empty as is the beach itself. Being later in the summer, the water is a comfortable temperature. Plus, this year we lucked out with cloudless skies, comfortable temperatures, and warm evenings to spend around the pool and bbq.
