Introducing Chima
Finally came up with a name for the kitten -- Chima. Pronounced Chee maa. It's an English bastardization of the Khmer word for cat (chma). She's a sweet little one with the smelliest poop and farts ever.
Toezilla is starting to come around. She doesn't sound like she's being fried alive anymore when Chima gets close.

Kriya
Haven't been to a long kriya in over a month. Need to get back. Each monday I try to go, but something comes up and I flake off. I always feel better when I do. Maybe next monday.

Happy Birthday Tony
Today is my buddy Tony's bday. For the past number of years I always get mixed up and call him on July 14 to wish him a happy birthday. Then he reminds me that it is August 14 - not Bastille Day.
Well this year, I not only forgot to call him on July 14 but I also forgot to call him today.

Perseid Meteor Show
Went out to Big Meadows to sleep under the stars and try and watch the light show in the sky. This weekend is the peak. Unfortunately, it is also a full moon and we couldn't see a thing. It was nice to sleep under the sky though.
Need to finish painting my sky in the bedroom.

Epitaph
Went hiking today in Fountainhead Park. It's a beautiful track of land that sits on the north shore of the Occoquan River.
This Civil War and Post-Civil War era family graveyard is on the trail just off the parking lot. Some of the residents were buried as recently as the 1940's.
I was sure to give my address incase a ghost wanted to come and visit.

Replacement Cat
Adopted a sweet little kitten this weekend. She stinks alot since she has horrible intestinal problems from the transition. But she does love the dog.
My older cat, Toezilla, isn't too thrilled. She makes a noise like she's being skinned alive when ever Replacement Cat comes near her.
